10 Healthy Living Tips that You Should Try Today!
In this blog post I have laid out my top 10 healthy living tips. You can start doing each and every one of these starting today! There is no particular order to this list as I think each and every single one of these are important and you can start implementing today! The first item on the Top 10 Healthy Living Tips is…
Stick to the Same Sleep Schedule Everyday
It is beneficial to your body to fall asleep at the same time and wake up at the same time everyday.
With this, you should also turn off all electronics an hour before bed so you can start to relax and adjust your eyes from the blue light that makes it harder to fall asleep. I have an iPhone and use the setting to change my phone light to “warm” at 7:00pm. There are also glasses you can purchase, but I have personally not tried these yet.
I have practiced and learned the skill of meditation to help me fall asleep. I found it so powerful and wanted to share it with the world that I actually created a meditation channel to help those who have trouble sleeping.
Start Exercising Your Body and Mind
Body

I also have some fitness blog posts I wrote on exercise circuits I love doing).
Mind
It’s as important to exerciser your mind as it is to exercise your body. I feel that this is growing in popularity the last few years and am excited to see the mental health industry grow. Check out my meditation channel Cosmic Cloud Meditations.
You can listen to it in the following ways as well:
- Anchor
- Google Podcast
- Apple Podcast
- Spotify
- Breaker
- RadioPublic
- PocketCast
- Podcast Addict
- Subscribe on YouTube
Schedule Your Yearly Medical Check Ups
It is super important to keep up with you health checks. You never know what will come up over the years. This could help you catch something detrimental to your health before it gets into the late stages of it being too late to recover from.
Set Goals
Goal setting is great for many reasons. It gives us something to look forward to, and something to achieve which gives us life purpose. You can set near term goals, long goals, or lifetime goals. It is best to write down your goals. Doing this etches it into your subconscious and actually makes it more likely that you will achieve what you wrote down! As an added bonus you could write it down on a note card and put it in your pocket. I got this little tip from Jake Ducey which is a motivational speaker. I highly recommend you check out Jake Ducey’s YouTube Channel. I watch him everyday for self motivation.
Some areas that you can start writing down goals in are:
- Career and work: type of work, how you want to feel in your job, what type of company do you want to build or work for, kind of people you want to work with, hours you want to work, where you want your job to be or if you want to work remote, ect.
- Money: what does financial health and freedom look like to you, ect
- Pets: if you want pets, what kind, ect
- Relationships: your perfect relationship with family, friends, spouse, ect
- Personal Desires: happiness, love, ect
- Material things: A rental house for income, reliable car to drive, ect
Stop Listening to Negative Lyric Music (or anything) that cause Negative Emotions
If you haven’t already been aware of the content you are consuming, it’s time to start becoming conscious of it. What your mind consumes effects your mood, your thoughts, how you react to situation, your relationships, on and on, and your entire life. I see a lot of friends post on their social media years later that they had no idea the lyrics they were listening to. It’s always a great idea to check out the lyrics after hearing a new catchy song to make sure that you agree with everything that is being sung into your head. You may not think it effects you, but it can effect you in subtle ways. For example, always listening to heartbreak songs, or songs that put love in a bad light. You may start to notice your relationships suffering. Just become more aware of it. Write down your feeling and see if it correlates to what is going on in your life. If you don’t find that it effects you than you can always skip this advice. We are here to create our own reality and wake up to what our body and minds are consuming.
Listen to Something Motivational Everyday
I love to start my day out with something motivation instead of checking my email and messages. Starting your day off on the right foot is the best way to ensure you will have a great day! This could be in the form of a YouTube channel, podcast, positive music, breathing exercises, affirmations or a book.

Cut out Substances
Substances including alcohol, drugs, or caffeine. Anything that brings you out of your normal state. You will start to feel more energized without substances in your body. Your body will start to heal itself. You may also start to see a lot of psychological changes including processing emotions betters, remembering special events, and having more focus to do productive hobbies. I’m not here to lecture anyone, but give this a try and see how it personally effects you. Only you can decide if this makes your life better or not. Once I saw this video by Aaron Doughty of why he stopped smoking weed, I started to tie this new thought process to even cutting out caffeine. He doesn’t condone substances, but teaches you how they effect your mood and energy on a spiritual level which is pretty interesting. Give it a listen if you’d like a new perspective on this topic.
Turn off the News
I have never really watched the news a lot. I rather read articles from time to time and scroll twitter for information. I also tend to find out from friends what is going on. However, I think it is very important for mental health to un-plug from the news. I know some people who watch it all day long and it can make you very depressed as a lot of news is made to keep you engaged and watching so they push a “shock” factor when reporting to keep their ratings up. I have seen more and more news coming out after the fact that what they originally reported wasn’t even true! There is no point in getting involved with unreliable sources. Figure out a few reliable sources that align with what you think and make sure to always fact check the fact checkers. In the end, there is no point in worrying about what you can not change. All you can do is worry about what you can control and do.
Connect with a Friend in Person and Ditch Social Media
It’s easy to find ourselves only connecting with people online or on video chat. It’s really beneficial to our social needs to see people in person! Going for walks, grabbing some coffee, or playing some board games together can really boost your mood and lower your stress.

Learn about Money and Invest!
This is not financial advice. These are my own opinions, please do your own research.
Are you someone who needs some help on getting a hold of your finances? Do you already know a lot about finances already? These are some of my tips from beginner to advanced investor! This is not financial advice and is for educational purposes. If I can do it, you can do it.
If you have a negative mindset around money, this is your year to change that. Money is not evil. It allows you to buy freedom to do what you want in life. It can allow you to buy time to help others more. Money allows you to to truly be and do what you are suppose to do in life. I hope you make it a goal to start planning generational wealth.
Start reading books about finance that make it simple to understand
These books below have helped me kickstart my financial lifestyle and grab a hold of my money. I will make sure to come back to this list and update it as I read more! The books that I have read so far and learned a lot from include:
Bitcoin
- Strike – Buy Bitcoin on Strike
- FoldApp – This is a bitcoin rewards program. They have a debit card that you can sign up for that gives you bitcoin back when you spin a wheel and land on different prizes. You can also spin the wheel daily to earn bitcoin too. Join using my FoldApp referral link here for some free bitcoin. Or you can use code “YE9F74XW”.
- Lolli – This browser extension allows you to earn bitcoin back on your purchases from over 1,000 merchants. They also have a mobile app that you can download. You can also open a Daily Stack to earn free bitcoin as well! Join using my Lolli referral link here. Or you can use code “C6G2M2”.
I highly recommend buying and using a ColdCard Wallet by Coinkite to store your bitcoin off of exchanges. It is classified as an asset at the time of writing this blog post. Noteworthy, if you do not control your bitcoin keys, it is not your coins. Meaning, that if you hold it on an exchange or third party, you do not have full control over your bitcoin. It is best to hold your bitcoin in a cold storage wallet.
Another tip I have for investing is to hold your bitcoin and do not day trade it, especially if you are not a professional trader, but also even if you are haha. At the time of writing this blog, post-bitcoin is taxed as an asset. Every time you convert it to USD, it is taxed.
