Road Trip to Montana State Travel Guide
In this Montana State Travel Guide, I will share with you what to do in Montana, where to eat, and where to stay! This travel guide is geared towards a weekend trip and I will add on to this guide as I visit Montana more.
What to do in Montana
I stayed at two different hotels when I visited Montana the first time. The first resort had a lot of activities for us to do. On sight we went to The Lodge at Whitefish Lake Spa, had smores, and hung out at the pool. It was also nice to walk around the waterfront property.
The Lodge at Whitefish Lake Spa
At The Lodge at Whitefish Lake Spa, my friend got a facial and I got a full one hour body massage. The Spa also provides nail services, spray tans, waxing, yoga classes, and have multiple skincare products for sale.
Smores at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake
If you are a smore lover, than you are in for a treat! The lobby has free smore kits that you can pick up everyday and then go outside and sit at the fireplace right in front of the hotel lobby.
Pool/Hot Tub at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake
The Whitefish Lodge has an amazing outside pool and hot tub. Their pool overlooks a nearby lake and mountains for an amazing view. During the warmer months, they have an outside Tiki Bar for guests. You can also find an impressive indoor pool and hot tub that is outlined by a rock wall as well.

Boat Club Dining Room
The Boat Club Dining Room is the dining room at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. They have breakfast and dinner that you must make reservations in advance for if you would like a table. This dining room had multiple windows that overlook the pool, lake, and mountains.

Whitefish Lodge
The Lodge at Whitefish Lake was located on a lake and spans a huge property with multiple condos on site. The condo that we stayed in had two bedrooms with queen size beds, two bathrooms, a laundry room, kitchen, living room with fireplace, a checkers game table, a dining room, and outside patio with a grill. The bathrooms both had glass shower doors. We went into town a few times to explore and eat, but you don’t ever have to leave the resort to have a special time.

Firebrand
Firebrand hotel is a few minutes from The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. It is a little more in the middle of the city. We stayed in two rooms. One had two queen size beds and the other room had one queen size room. The bathroom was the nicest glass shower that I had been in with plenty of hot water!
